Give Local

Make a contribution to your own Hometown

Dear Princeton Community Member:

As you consider making year-end donations to the thousand-and-one worthy and deserving charities soliciting your donations this holiday season, we at Hometown Princeton encourage you to consider making your contributions count close to home.

For the same rationale that lies behind our urging you to “Shop Local,” we want to draw your attention to the special qualities of Princeton’s charities, foundations, and civic institutions, and to what these organizations impart to the quality of life in our town.

Like a local business, a local charity or civic organization cannot rely on support from a remote parent organization or pull in donations from around the country. These groups, which are dedicated to serving the needs of the Princeton community, rely on area residents to support their efforts.

So this holiday, why not keep the giving close to home? Your contribution will strengthen the organizations that strengthen the hearts, bodies, minds, and souls of our town.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Hometown Princeton
